I am pleased with the mold, it has drain holes to allow the whey to escape. I realize that my next purchase will be a press.

Mold worked great. I want thinking and put high pressure focused between the press points and the follower bowed somewhat. But it worked great and ended up with a beautiful shape.
This mold works well for us. We use our goats' milk for the cheese. Final cheese weight has been about 5.25 lbs per loaf. Easy to use. Drains well. Easy to clean.
This is a heavy duty mold and worked great in preparing a horseradish jack cheese. Still waiting for a taste, but the mold formed a nice solid brick that I then waxed. I used 3 gallons of raw milk, Jim Wallace's Pepper Jack cheese recipe (mixing in 187 grams of finely grated raw horseradish root just before putting curds into the mold) and the resulting mass filled this mold entirely. The final weight before waxing was 1.912 kq (4 lbs 3.5 oz).
