Plyban cheesecloth is a poly webbing used to line cheese molds when pressing curds. This thin material is less prone to wrinkle than bulkier cloths, which can help create a more uniform cheese surface.

While I use other cheesecloth for general draining, I've cut my Plyban just large enough to fit my molds and use this to line the molds before filling and pressing. When done, I rinse it well and let it air dry. When I have several used cheesecloths, they go into my washing machine for a good wash and rinse. My regular cloths get machine dried - or dried on the clothesline. The Plyban does NOT handle dryer heat. But it goes through the washing machine well and then is hung to dry and dries quickly. I've used some pieces for years....probably well over 100 washes for some....and it's still holding up well.
It works well. However this product is not as smooth as a product I have bought a similar from another vendor. It is a little stiff when it gets wet and leaves more marks on the cheese during pressing.
Really like that there are no loose threads or fuzzies. Easy to work with, cut, clean and boil
Love it ! You can cut it the exact size you need it , it's easy to be washed and cleaned . Only downside , it's plastic .
These are the best. They last for several years. Cheese doesn't stick like in regular cheese cloth. Won't ever go back to cotton cheese cloth!
