Hard Cheese Mold (Small)
This small hard cheese mold with follower will work with any of our presses and can be use to make up to a two pound cheese, from two gallons of milk. This sturdy mold can handle a pressing weight of up to 100 lbs.
The open bottom on this cheese mold provides ideal drainage. Since this mold does not need the amount of weight, for pressing, as larger cheese molds, it does not need a closed bottom to contain the curd mass.

Works like a charm!
I just made my first attempt at a hard cheese—a farmhouse cheddar. This mold worked great, is simple to clean, and I’m glad I made the investment! I’ll use it a lot, and am working on the wall mounted cheese press—should be a big improvement from the 50 lb cinderblock I used on this batch!
As described: good smooth surface on the inside, follower fits perfect! Great for me as I'm just getting started with cheesemaking!
This mold is great for 2 lb cheeses. I've made multiple Gouda and Butterkase cheeses with this little mold with no problems! Definitely a must have!
Great for small cheeses
This mold is the perfect size for 2 pound cheeses. I like the open bottom because I feel like it allows the cheese to drain much faster and form a solid mass sooner. Thanks New England Cheese Making Supply Co!
Small Cheese mold
Although I have yet to make cheese in this mold, it seems to be made of quality material and should provide anyone using it with many years of service. I would recommend it for price and quality.
