Stainless Steel Skimmer
This stainless steel skimmer is a staple for all cheese makers. The slotted design lets whey drain from the curds, as they are scooped out of the pot, and placed into draining cloth or cheese molds. This skimmer can also be used to mix ingredients into milk and stir curds while heating.

Should be boiled, to sterilize, before each use.
After use, wash in hot soapy water and allow to dry.

This skimmer is so handy! Great quality, heavy stainless and the price is really good. I could definitely use another one.

This skimmer has made it much easier to add culture and rennet to the milk and then to transfer the resulting curds to cheesecloth. It is a high-quality stainless that washes up beautifully.

Perfect for scooping curds or dipping mozzarella balls (I don’t have a microwave so I have to do 30-min mozz the old-fashioned way). Solid utensil. Easy to sterilize and clean. Use it for stirring my cheese, skimming ricotta and can't wait to use it for brie. Also use it to horizontally cut curd. Very versatile.
