Goat Cheese Kit

This was a fun kit to use! We made a bunch of chevre and added chives, dried garlic, and peppercorns, and it was amazingly good! We ate some as is, and then stuffed some crescent rolls with the rest. We're making chevre stuffed sweet potatoes this weekend. Chevre was super easy to make with this kit, and it's a cheese we make a lot of due to how simple and delicious it is.

A Tasty Science Experiment

This worked great! I picked up goat milk from Sprouts (not ultra pasteurized) and followed all the instructions and by the next day I had goat milk. The product was super tasty and it gave us an excuse to make fun cheeseboards. I would also recommend making this as a science project for kids at home!

Awesome.

I had never made "french cheese" before but the family loved it. I enjoyed the simple to follow directions and the molds were awesome!! We ate the cheese plain, with no added flavorings to see if we liked it. YUM. and then... we added pepper jelly and crackers. oh my. Can't wait to play with farmhouse cheddar.

best goat cheese ever!

This was an amazing kit. I’ve made three batches. I thought I didn’t like goat cheese before making this but was I wrong! We have a goat farm a couple miles away and the fresh goat milk made the creamiest richest tasting goat cheese I have ever had. Not that strong tang that you usually get. I’ve tried it with chives rolled in it and dill. They are all amazing. I left out the salt on some like they suggested and froze it. When it thaws you can mix the salt in they say. It freezes better that way. It’s like the richest cream cheese you’ve ever had. On crackers it is amazing! No one can believe I made it. I enjoyed it so much that I’m going to try cheddar and mozzarella too. I bought the kits I just have to get the milk!
