The kit for making goat cheese was so easy to use. Its the first time I've used a starter and I was delighted. I got about 1.25# or three cups of cheese from a gallon of milk. I will definitely branch out and try other starters and cheese recipes. The cheese/butter cloth width was a bit skimpy so i used a cheap gauze dish towel along with the provided cloth.
Memory-maker for my son and me
After uncovering my 8-year-old's love of chevre while camping and visiting a goat farm, we decided to make some at home. Finding a goat milk source was the hardest part, because the goat cheese kit was well-priced, complete and virtually fool-proof. The daylong process (mostly waiting) yielded 2lbs of delicate cheese - a real hit and fun father-son project!
while I have to agree with Mona from Cal. the kit is great and my cheese turned out fantastic.
I love it
So easy and the cheese is great. My neighbors fell in love with it when I let them try it
This was the first time that I made cheese from my goats. Turned out beautifully!!!
