Great addition to my cheesemaking tool set!

I made whey ricotta with this ricotta cheese mold for the the first time last weekend and loved it! The lasagna for my dad's birthday dinner was awesome too, thanks to this easy to use mold!

Pleased with the Ricotta Cheese Basket

I really like my Ricotta Cheese basket. It worked well as I made ricotta from 1 1/2 gallon of whey left over from a farmhouse cheddar cheese I made. It drains nicely and rinses out easily; much better than using cheese cloth. Now I have ricotta to use in my lasagna!!

Works well, a little flimsy

This works great for queso fresco. It didn’t work quite as well when I made ricotta because the curd washed through the holes and I needed to line it with cheesecloth. (Perhaps my curd was just too small!). They are a little flimsy, but I find this useful when flipping the cheese because I can ensure that the corners fit correctly in the bottom of the mold.
