Basic cheese kit mold

Thank you for sending me my basic cheese kit mold. Now I can do many things I couldn’t before. Have made a few batches of paneer cheese which has been wonderful. I am hoping to attempt some Chèvre and Gouda and cottage cheese as well. Thankyou for all your help. Cheese makes the world go round and round Sincerely Paul Valentine

Was okay

Was okay for first time making cheese. But if you want a traditional cheese look this is not the mold for you.

Great handy all-round mold

This is a really useful mold. I use it to make a number of different fresh cheeses, including feta, crescenza, boursin/flavored lactic cheeses, basically anything that requires high flow drainage and works ok with this kind of shape. A big plus is that the round follower that NEC sells separately (and cheaply) fits with this mold, which is really nice for cheeses that require a little pressure while draining. Highly recommend.

Basic Cheese Mold

This worked perfectly while I made mozzarella cheese for the very first time. It was so handy. Definitely worth purchasing.

Just right

I made my first batch of cheese, cacioriccotta, using this mold. When I realized that I had enough curds to fill two of these molds, I improvised and used a strainer I had on hand. The cheese made using this cheese mold turned out far superior to the one made in the strainer. The right tools matter. This one is great.
