Foil Cheese Wrap (Blue Cheese)
This Cheese Foil is the best option for storing a rindless blue cheese after it is done aging. The white kraft paper (cheese side) is wax coated, bonded to a foil (outer layer). The foil layer allows very little air exchange that prevents the blue mold from growing a thick layer over the surface of the cheese and affecting flavor.
This storage wrap can also be used for a well aged cheese that does not have high residual moisture or an active mold surface developing. Including Alpine Styles, Cheddar, Gouda and Tomme. The wrap should be opened and re-wrapped to freshen the cheese and inspect the surface every few days even if not consuming. This wrap is also ideal for wrapping butter or a well drained cream cheese.

This two ply aluminum foil cheese wrap for blues is very nice and works well. My only wish is that it were available in larger sizes, as I typically make 6-8 pound cheese and it takes at least two sheets to cover a cheese, which is inconvenient. Otherwise, a nice product.
