Great products. I made my first block of chedder cheese. Can't wait to try it. Great instructions and recipe. Having an end ĺm ess suppy for fresh goat milk makes me want to make more cheses. Thanks for giving me the cinfidence.
I have been using this mold for a while. I make cheese with 4-5 gallons of goat milk per week and this mold is the perfect size. Very sturdy and well worth the investment.
Good result - wheel too thin
I've been using this for many semi-hard cheeses. Most of my cheeses are made using 4.5 gallons or less of high fat raw jersey milk from my cows. I've had no trouble with this mold holding that much volume of curd. My press, is a homemade press, in which I use my old pharmacy books, cast iron pots and such as weights and I'm not seeing any signs of buckling. It cleans easily on the top rack of the dishwasher. It's well worth the money! I wish I had a bigger kitchen and larger stove so I could do 2 wheels of cheese a day, with the volume of milk I have (8 gallons a day). I'm always happy with New England Cheese Making. Their products are premium and their customer service cannot be beat. Shipping is always very fast! They are the only company I order my cheese-making supplies from.
