These molds are good economically, but are a 'medium' when it comes to quality. (3 of them had a crack on the top ring when they arrived). The cracks weren't a deal-breaker, but it was evident the material is on the brittle side. Again, good price and the size I wanted, but won't be getting another set. Oh, also - the drainage openings are quite generous in size, so found there are only a couple different types of cheeses I'll use for these molds.
Sturdy and Reliable!
Sturdy and functional riccotta basket - Great price, too!
Good product and quick delivery
Have not had the chance to put these molds to use - yet. But they arrived in a timely fashion and are just what was advertised. I look forward to making a new cheese with my new molds. Thank you, Rikki, for all you do and share. C. Daughtry
I bought these 2 years ago for draining chevre. I have found them to be very sturdy. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher and I still have every one intact. During the summer months I make chevre 2or 3 times a week.
Used these to make a soft cheese called English Farmhouse Cheese, a fresh cheese designed to be eaten 2 days after it is made. I did not like these baskets. The holes were to large and the soft cheese curds seeped out. They have to be lined with cheese cloth before they can be used. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsi4Dj2L5Og
