The cheese cloth is working wonderful in my making cheese. I also bought the butter muslin and it has worked very well for me too.
Just made my first try at Munster and so far so good. I've made cheddar and havarti and both were excellent. This is all thanks to the supplies I have purchased through New England Cheese Making Supply.
I have used cheesecloth before but the one I just got from The New England Cheesemaking company, the butter muslin cheesecloth, is really wonderful, I have been making feta cheese and yoghurt cheese among other things. It is simple to wash, dries well and can be reused many times. It is a necessary tool of cheesemaking! I highly recommend it.
This was exactly what I was looking for. It is durable, reusable and has an excellent weave. The 2 square yards choice is more than enough for making cheese at home. I would highly recommend this to anyone new to cheese making as well as butter muslin.
I just starting making cheese in March 2020 and I’m hooked. The cheesecloth works great, nice even weave.
