Keifer:

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I have only recultured it once so far, will write another review later on also. I followed the directions the first time to get the culture going - it was awesome! on the first reculture, I just got the goat milk, and the keifer culture out of the fridge and let it get room temp (we live in Fl.), and mixed both together, set it on our gas stove where the pilot lite is in the middle and I got an awesome reculture. Thank u! Thank u ! Thank u ! Appreciate all u folks do for goats, cows, and cheese making! Nancy Gillespie

how do i reculture?

I gave this 5 stars because we have high hopes for it. Our yogurt packets are great but this just arrived and we have no tried it yet. The description online says you can re-culture this but I cannot find directions to do that anywhere? I'm a newbie. Any help?

Kefir

First time making kefir, I felt like the directions we not so clear. I have 4 packs to work with the first packet did not work at all, I am working on the second packet to see if the results are any different. So far I'm not real impressed with this product. With that being said, I have bought lots of products from this company and have been very pleased with everything with the exception of this one.

Super Easy

We got really nice sized starter keifer grains with this that started making a nice amount of keifer. After a month I was able to make a quart jar of keifer everyday. Extremely easy to make and keep going. We dont care for any yogurt plain so I mix a quart jar of keifer in the blender with 2-3 frozen bananas, frozen fruit of choice (fresh works fine to), chia seeds and hemp seeds, I end up with 2 quart jars...makes a great breakfast or afternoon snack. I also sometimes mix my smoothie with some quick oats and let set overnight for a flavorful keifer oatmeal smoothie.
