30 Minute Mozzarella & Ricotta Kitfun, easy to use cheese making kit
"I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kit! The mozzarella was delicious and soooo easy to make!"
–Kathy, Happy Cheese Maker
This cheese making kit is fun for all ages, simply add milk and enjoy. What could be better than making fresh, homemade mozzarella in your own kitchen.
With this kit you can go from fresh milk to stretching mozzarella in approximately 30 minutes. Along with mozzarella you can also make fresh whole milk ricotta, yum.
When making mozzarella, or any cheese, we always suggest local dairies, when available. For mozzarella the milk needs to be processed below 170F, at the dairy, for proper curd formation.

Use the freshest milk you can find, local milk is always best, when available.
Milk that has been pasteurized above 170F can be problematic for curd formation, when making 30 minute mozzarella. If you see problems with curd formation, we recommend contacting the dairy and asking about their milk processing temperatures.
This kit can be made with any type of low heat processed milk, including goat milk and powdered milk.

Worked really well. Tasted great and the next time it will be easier.
What a fantastic find! The instructions are simple and clear, and the kit contains everything you need (except milk of course). Check out the milk guide on the site for a high quality supplier near you!
I am sooooo happy I bought this kit! My friend kept posting about her cheese making adventures and I was super curious. She sent me the link to buy this kit. I made my first mozzarella a couple weeks ago and it was delicious!!! The instructions were clear and the supplies were easy to use. The only thing is change is not to make my next batch on a really hot day again because standing at the stove stirring got really hot! But the results were worth it. I actually have now also ordered the goat cheese kit and will try that next. I’m so excited about this new hobby (and so are my neighbors and friends who will help me eat all the cheese!!!)
Such an awesome kit! I had never made mozzarella before, and on the very first try (even though I’m sure I messed up through the process) we had a beautiful ball of mozzarella! Excited to experiment more and share the cheesy bounty!
Instructions are very vague and difficult to follow, even for a chemist. "Dip the curds in the colander into the hot water. After several times take a spoon and fold..." After several times of what? There were so many instances of unclear instructions, we had to find a different recipe to follow. We lost almost all of the product due to unclear instructions and two separate attempts. Would not buy again and would not recommend unless you already know how to make mozzarella, but in that case, the kit is pretty pointless. Two stars because we were able to recover a small ball of mozzarella from the process.
