Stainless Steel Skimmer
This stainless steel skimmer is a staple for all cheese makers. The slotted design lets whey drain from the curds, as they are scooped out of the pot, and placed into draining cloth or cheese molds. This skimmer can also be used to mix ingredients into milk and stir curds while heating.
- 18/8 Stainless steel
- 10" Handle
- 4 1/4" Diameter ladle
Should be boiled, to sterilize, before each use.
After use, wash in hot soapy water and allow to dry.

Good quality skimmer
The weight of the skimmer is good. Unlike my old one, which is heavy and bulky. I will be using it again and again!
This skimmer is a very nice quality stainless steel! It has a good weight, balance and feel to it. The skimmer part is thin enough to work with the cheese and the edges are slightly tapered which is helpful as well. The handle is comfortable and has some weight to it without being heavy. It feels solid and sturdy and I expect it to last a very long time. Well worth the purchase!
I got this skimmer for my cheesemaking, and so far it's been working great! I've used it a bunch of times and it's a great size and build. Would definitely reccomend.
Cheese making made simple
With this strainer it was simple and easy to get all my bits of cheese out. With the long handle i could be making a massive batch or a small one. Highly recommend the product
This is wonderful tool for cheese making! It is solid and durable, with a nice feel and weight to it. Works perfect for straining curds out of the pot. I also like that it has the New England cheese Making Supply co. logo with the little cow, etched into the handle; makes me smile when I see it.
