Stainless Steel Drip Tray
This stainless steel drip tray can be used with most of our hard cheese molds and fits on all of our cheese presses. The spout for runoff helps prevent damage to a wood cheese press or any other surface, from the liquid whey as cheese drains. It is easy clean and dishwasher safe.

I had previously used small baking trays under my cheese mold when pressing cheese. It works okay, but I needed to be mindful of the level of whey, since a lot of cheese molds don't include additional "foot" height to raise the mold above the surface. This drip tray allows me to press the cheese on a raised platform (as I've been doing all along) yet the whey to drain into a pot underneath. I do still need to go through my cheese molds and Dremel some draining channels into the small standoffs that the molds have. That'll make them work better with this draining tray, as opposed to needing to insert toothpicks under the cheese mold to allow whey to drain. All in all, a great thing, provided that your cheese molds actually allow whey to drain.
makes life so much easier for containing the whey while pressing.
Keeps the whey off my press and makes catching the whey and cleanup easy.
Appears to be excellent quality. I built my own press and this will work with it perfectly.
Far from being just an add-on to my cheesemaking equipment set, this drip tray has really been a very effective component of the operation. It fits my homemade cheese press perfectly and reduces the amount of mess made when pressing cheese. I'm so glad I bought it!
