Great Starter Culture
I started making this cheese in May and since then I have used 11 packets of this culture. I have only cultured raw goat milk and if I don’t have a full gallon per packet I simply measure the amount I need for the number of quarts I want to culture. I love the simplicity and convenience of this product.
The culture was so easy to use and nothing is better than fresh cheese!
The cultures always work. If errors it is usually temp. related. Once mine did not thicken enough so i turned it into salad dressing by adding buttermilk & herbs. Just a happy mistake.
Versatile Chevre culture
So versatile! This is my go to culture for a quick and easy goat cheese. I have used it to make herbed garlic spreads, rich creamy cheesecake and a simple cream cheese. If I could only have one culture this would be the one.
