Goats Produce Too!
This is a great book for the "kid" in all of us. Mary Jane, like everyone else who raises goats, soon had an overabundance of milk and started to develop her own recipes. That endeavor grew into this great book on the utilization of goat milk and dairy goat products. Included in this book are recipes for cheesemaking, yogurt, ice cream, fudge, pies and puddings, goat meat and a few non-edibles like soap and whitewash. This book is a great resource for any goat lover.

I have a couple other books and so far this is my favorite. It’s so much more practical for at home cheese making with easier to come by ingredients and easier directions. I haven’t had it long enough to try many recipes but as long as they turn out I’ll be happy. The variety of ways to use your milk is so nice. We have so much extra milk this year and this book is going to help me find fun ways to use it for our family.
I have been looking for goat recipes for a while and this book has exceeded my expectations. We have Nigerian Dwarf goats and we love using their milk. This book has a wide range of recipes from yogurt to a variety of cheeses. The book is very easy to follow and even my 12 year old daughter has enjoyed making a few yogurt recipes. Tasty is just the topping on the cake to describe our enjoyment! Highly recommend these awesome recipes!!
Not just useful cheese recipes, but all kinds of nice recipes using goat milk . I am looking forward to trying out the various pudding recipes in particular.
This was the first book I bought after purchasing a milk goat. Many goats and cows later, I still find myself grabbing this book from the shelf. It is an easy unpretentious book that takes you from the basics of pasteurization to hard cheese. This is a great first book for any dairy goat owner.
