Goats Produce Too! $18
This is a great book for the "kid" in all of us. Mary Jane, like everyone else who raises goats, soon had an overabundance of milk and started to develop her own recipes. That endeavor grew into this great book on the utilization of goat milk and dairy goat products. Included in this book are recipes for cheesemaking, yogurt, ice cream, fudge, pies and puddings, goat meat and a few non-edibles like soap and whitewash. This book is a great resource for any goat lover.

Love this book...good explanations, great recipes...tried some new things like puddings to use up excess milk. Great easy to follow cheeses recipes too!
Simple and informative
This book provides great “behind the scene” information like troubleshooting off-tasting goat milk, easy to understand explanations of different powders, molds, milk grades, as well as helpful hints from personal experience by the author. It’s a great resource for comparing ingredients, recipes, and techniques. There are many simple recipes for dairy products, soap, and even goat meat, which is not usually mentioned in books about dairy animals. This book is a great addition to my cooking library and serve as a great reference for years to come!
Awesome tool in my library!
I have stepped into the world of goats this year and searched the internet for recipes using goat’s milk. Then I saw this and immediately bought it! It has all the information I need to make the most out of my milk. From cheese making to soap and in easy to follow instructions. Great book to have in your references library if you own goats!
First order to New England Cheese Making Supply Co.
First, the service was super quick and efficient. The book has a lot of interesting ideas, however for a beginner I felt like some of the recipes were a little vague and was left wondering what was the next step. However, I did make a couple of the recipes and they came out fine, just wish I didn't have to guess at what she was "meaning" for the next step. Overall, I would order from this company again.
Goats produce too
I haven't used the recipes yet since it is now off season for milking. The fresh cheese, candy and ice cream recipes seem easy to follow. The section on hard and pressed cheeses I feel do not describe the curd quality well. I might skip these recipes and look for another source.
