This Thermophilic culture is used in making a variety of cheese, including Mozzarella, Parmesan, Provolone, Romano, Swiss, Gruyere, and other Italian style cheeses, which require higher temperature ranges.
Five individual packets are included, for easy use. Simply add one packet directly to heated milk to begin the cheese making process. This culture is great for beginner and advanced cheese makers alike.

Store in the freezer for up to 2 years

I have used the thermophilic culture along with other cultures to make baby Swiss from my raw goat milk. It barely had aged enough, and my sister right on target (she lives with me and loves all the cheeses) ate a good deal of one of the two rounds. She was right, it was the best baby Swiss EVER! My mom was gifted the other round, and her comments are still coming in, she loves it too!
I’ve used the feta culture and it’s awesome. I’m looking forward to using this culture and venturing into other types of cheeses.
I have made fresh cheese curds without this but the flavor is just blah. I would highly recommend this to give the curds a buttery flavor. It's so easy to use the pre-measured packets!
