This Weekend and It’s Free!
I just checked my calendar and realized I hadn’t told you about this exciting yearly event, sponsored by NOFA- the Northeast Organic Farming Association. This year 9 farms that sell raw milk are open to the public. You can go to any of them Saturday and Sunday for a scheduled tour or a self-guided visit. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the production of raw milk in our state.
The farms are listed here and if you click on the links, you will find directions to get there. If you have any other questions, contact Winton Pitcoff – winton@nofamass.org.

Lucy will demonstrate and describe how goats are milked so that you can try your hand at milking a goat after the demonstration. Watch the chickens do what they do best.
