For the last 10 years, we at New England Cheesemaking Supply Co. have had the great honor of working with Ida Pearce. As an important member of our staff, Ida modeled what you call “a good work ethic.” The truth is, no one could keep up with her! She stayed on her task of assembling inventory with a laser-like focus and nothing could distract her from it.
Alas, all good things must come to an end and, at the age of 83, Ida has retired.
She is leaving 2 generations behind her at NECS – her daughter, Kathy and her granddaughter, April. (They say they won’t be working to the age of 83!)
We held a surprise party for her at a local restaurant.
She really was surprised!
