A tidbit is a little piece of something BIG and that something is the big, big world of cheese. We know you’re kinda busy making your own “fabulous fromage,” so, every month (on the 15th), we scour the Web for you, picking out new items of interest and giving you the links. If we missed something, let us know at info@cheesemaking.com or in the comments below.
Celebrating the Make: As far as we know, the upcoming Vermont Cheesemakers Festival on July 7th in Randolph, VT is the only US festival with the word “cheesemaker” in it (we like that word!). There will be workshops and demos, so, you might want to secure your seats by purchasing your tickets in advance – click here
Beautiful Pics: The article is good, but it’s actually an ad halfway down that we like with pics and descriptions of the 10 best English cheeses (although we don’t know who chose them) – click here
White Pizza: This seems perfect for a summer pizza-it’s equal parts (4 ounces each) of mozzarella, parmesan and ricotta – click here
The Issue is Cheese: A dispute about cheese imports is holding up Canada’s new trade agreement with the European Union. Canada appears to have found a whey around their agreement to import more cheese from Europe. – click here
Tropical Flavors: The Summer Fancy Food Show will be in NY this month- the 25th-27th. There will be a lot of cheese there to sample, including Cheeseland Inc’s new Coconut & Banana cheese – click here
See you next month and happy cheese making!
