For the last 7 years, we have collaborated with the VA Healthcare Center in Leeds, MA to provide work for veterans at the Compensated Work Therapy Workshop. The veterans in the program help us package our kits and other products. They do a great job for us, so we try to express our appreciation. We bring them lunch and gift bags which consist of little items from each of the staff at NECS – baked goods, socks, lottery tickets, etc. It’s a small gesture, but it gives us the opportunity to get to know them and to tell them in person how grateful we are for their service to our business and to our country.
